Mercury Rev ft Hope Sandoval – Big Boss Man

Having been the purveyors of some of the finest indie rock to come out of the USA in the last two decades, Mercury Rev have taken on a new challenge – the reimagining of Bobbie Gentry’s 1968 masterpiece, The Delta Sweete.

Big Boss Man is the second track to be lifted from the upcoming LP, and features Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star.

The Delta Sweete Revisited, which will also feature the likes of Norah Jones, Phoebe Bridgers and Laetitia Sadier, will be released by Bella Union records on 8th February.

Joey Purp – Aw Shit!

Joey Purp’s superb new album, QUARTERTHING, featured in our Best Hip Hop Albums of 2018 list this week. And, right on cue, the Chicago based rapper has dropped one of the record’s best cuts, Aw Shit!

Tim Presley’s White Fence – I Have To Feed Larry’s Hawk

Following his work on this year’s DRINKS album with Cate Le Bon and his collaborative album, Joy, with Ty Segall, Tim Presley has returned to his White Fence project – and this week has shared the upcoming LP’s title track, I Have To Feed Larry’s Hawk.

I Have To Feed Larry’s Hawk will be released through Drag City on 25th January.
