Preston based dream pop duo, White Flowers, have followed up last year’s debut EP, Glimmer, with something totally unexpected.
Drifting, which was released today, is a mix tape of immediate ideas – spawned in the rehearsal room and committed instantly to tape with no overdubs or edits. It’s a wild ten track ride that sees the pair at their exhilarating, experimental best.
Vocalist, Katie, said – ‘Drifting captures a feeling or mood that we wanted to preserve, and the roughness of the recordings is part of this. The mixtape is meant to be listened to as a whole.’
Drifting is out on Bingo Records now.
